These terms apply to you (the merchant, including the Shopify store owner or authorised representative) when you install or use the ROOPON Giveaways application (the App) to offer products that provide access to ROOPON (discounts, rewards, and related member benefits), including promotional giveaway participation for qualifying purchases as described in campaign rules. They are separate from the ROOPON partner program for member discounts on roopon.com.

1. Other agreements

You remain bound by Shopify's terms, policies, and Acceptable Use Policy. Your use of the App also sits alongside ROOPON's Affiliate Program Terms, Privacy Policy, and Affiliate Guidelines where they apply to affiliate commission, payouts, and marketing. If there is a conflict on Shopify-specific topics (scopes, products on your store, order data from Shopify), these merchant terms prevail for the App only.

2. What the App does

The App lets you sync and sell one-off ROOPON access products on Shopify (often tiered), which unlock ROOPON platform benefits. Promotional giveaway entry components may be included for qualifying orders under applicable trade promotion rules — entries are not sold as a separate line item. ROOPON uses order and customer data as described in our Privacy Policy to create accounts, apply entries, and operate campaigns. The App does not sell full ROOPON membership subscriptions on your storefront unless expressly offered as such in the product copy you sync.

3. Accurate listings & compliance

You are responsible for how you present ROOPON packages on your store (including upsells and checkout copy). You must not mislead shoppers about odds, prizes, eligibility, or ROOPON's role. You must comply with Australian Consumer Law, advertising rules, and any industry rules that apply to you.

4. Commission & revenue share

Your share of qualifying ROOPON package sales is shown in the App dashboard. ROOPON's app fee (platform share) is collected through Shopify App Pricing / Shopify Billing API — invoiced by Shopify, not via Stripe, PayPal, or external checkout. Commission on product sales follows your merchant terms in the App; the separate ROOPON affiliate program (PayPal/bank payouts on roopon.com) is not app billing.

5. Data & security

You authorise ROOPON to access Shopify data within the scopes you approve at install, to operate the App and webhooks. You will keep your ROOPON credentials secure and notify ROOPON if you suspect unauthorised access.

6. Suspension & removal

ROOPON may suspend or disconnect the App, withhold payouts, or terminate your use if you breach these terms, abuse the platform, create legal or compliance risk, or if Shopify or ROOPON ends the integration.

7. Disclaimer

The App is provided on an "as is" basis to the extent permitted by law. ROOPON does not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free sync, or a particular level of sales.
