• Express Consent Consequences: includes the fact that that we will not be accountable under the Privacy Act and you will not be able to seek redress under the Privacy Act in the event that you provide consent to the disclosure of your Personal Information by us to an overseas recipient and the overseas recipient handles your Personal information in breach of the Privacy Act.
• Expressly Informed: means the circumstance where we have provided you with a clear statement (either verbal or in writing) of the Express Consent Consequences.
• Opt Out: means an individual's expressed request not to receive further Direct Marketing communications.
• Personal Information: means information that is not Sensitive Information, including information or an opinion (whether information or an opinion forming part of a database), whether true or not and whether recorded in a material form or not, about an individual whose identity is apparent, or can reasonably be ascertained from the information or opinion. This includes, but is not limited to, an individual's first name, last name, email address, phone number, password and address.
• Primary Purpose: is the main reason for the Collection of any Personal Information.
• Reasonable Expectation: means a reasonable individual's expectation that their personal information might be Used or Disclosed for the relevant purpose.
• Secondary Purpose: means a purpose of Use or Disclosure other than a Primary Purpose.

When you register with us, you provide us information about yourself – your name, email address, phone number etc. If you correspond with us by e-mail, we may retain the content of your e-mail messages, your e-mail address, and our responses. We also collect general information about your use of our services.

By entering your email and phone number on our website, you may receive marketing material from us. This includes, but is not limited to, promotional offers, newsletters, and information about new products or services. We may use the information you provide us to contact you via email or phone, even if you do not submit any forms. If you do not wish to receive marketing material from us, please let us know by emailing us at support@roopon.com or by unsubscribing from our emails.

While interacting with other users on the Forum or Interactive Area, you share your contact information, the messages which you share are not private and can be viewed by any member or user of the website.

The advertisement and other related details that you post on the website and the information which you share therein are collected by us.

If you use Savings Agent (eligible memberships only), ROOPON may collect or process information derived from regulated bank-linking facilitated by Basiq: for example hashed identifiers tying your ROOPON account to a Basiq user row, mobile numbers validated for MFA, synced transaction classifications, heuristic scores, summaries and product logs needed to troubleshoot the linkage. Credential entry for your bank occurs on Basiq / bank infrastructure, not in ROOPON UI.

If you install the ROOPON Chrome Extension, we may collect information described in the ROOPON Chrome Extension section below — including optional email if you subscribe to extension updates, deal-match signals on supported Australian retailer sites, and (when you are signed in) deal click analytics to power savings features.

Savings Agent aligns with AU privacy principles: we minimise data, describe purposes here, rely on aggregator-led consent for bank credentials, use processors under contract, and let you escalate questions to support@roopon.com.

Aggregator. Basiq Pty Ltd ("Basiq")is the conduit for bank linking under their platform terms plus screens you approve. Institution-specific Consumer Data Right (CDR), secure web connectors, or hybrid workflows will be disclosed interactively inside Basiq's journeys; screenshots or legal labels there supplement this Policy.

Collected / derived ROOPON-side.We may store linkage handles (such as paired user ids), ingestion diagnostics, synced transaction artefacts, classifications, heuristic scores, natural-language summaries, optional "message draft" text you copy manually, timestamps, telemetry and security logs strictly needed to operate or audit the pipeline.

Processors & cross-border implication. Beyond Basiq, ROOPON may involve additional vendors (for example infrastructure hosting providers, transactional email, AI inference partners). Contracts require confidentiality, minimise access, and (where mandated) uphold Australian Privacy Principle 8 onward disclosure mechanics. Obtain detail on sub-processors upon written request pending our published registry.

Third-party AI / LLM inference. Where Savings Agent surfaces natural-language explanations, summaries or optional draft copy, ROOPON may transmit only the minimum synced transaction-derived context needed for that step to independent LLM API providers engaged as subcontractors. Those providers host and operate the underlying models on their own infrastructure under their safeguards; ROOPON does not own or independently host the proprietary model weights. Outputs are probabilistic machine text, not individualized human statements from ROOPON staff unless expressly described otherwise. Align expectations with Terms & Conditions (Savings Agent).

Marketing. Unless you expressly opt-in to another channel, transactional bank insight data is not used to profile you for tertiary partner advertising without lawful grounds and notice.

Correction & deletion. Align profile phone/email before initiating consent journeys. Disconnecting or requesting erasure triggers reasonably prompt actions subject to AML, taxation, disputes, lawful retention or backup rotation limits.

Nothing in this section limits non-excludable consumer guarantees applicable under Commonwealth or State legislation.

ROOPON offers an optional Chrome browser extension that surfaces Australian deal matches, price alerts, and related savings features while you browse supported retailer websites. The extension is operated by Geometric Sounds Pty Ltd (ROOPON) and is governed by this Site Policy together with our Terms & Conditions.

What the extension does. On supported Australian shopping sites, the extension may read page context (such as retailer domain, product title, and visible price information) to determine whether a ROOPON deal or alert applies. It may display a badge or notification when a match is found and can open ROOPON pages (for example /deals, /signup, or /welcome) when you choose to act on an offer.

Information we may collect. Depending on how you use the extension, we may process:

• Optional email address if you subscribe to extension-related updates or lead capture flows (stored in our systems and, where applicable, our email/marketing providers).
• Deal interaction data when you are signed in to ROOPON — for example deal identifier, page price shown on the retailer site, matched ROOPON deal price, estimated savings, and whether the interaction came from the extension or the website.
• Technical and usage data such as extension version, browser type, timestamps, and diagnostic logs needed to operate, secure, and improve the extension.
• Account linkage when you log in through ROOPON while the extension is installed, so member-only features (such as tracked savings) can work.

What we do not collect via the extension.We do not use the extension to collect your retailer login passwords, payment card numbers, or bank account credentials. We do not intend to monitor your general browsing outside supported retailer pages required to deliver deal matching. Checkout and payment steps on third-party retailer sites remain subject to those retailers' own privacy policies.

Permissions.The extension requests browser permissions only as needed to read supported shopping pages, show alerts, and communicate with ROOPON services. Permission prompts are controlled by Chrome; you can review or revoke them in your browser's extension settings at any time.

How we use extension data. We use this information to match deals, show price alerts, measure feature performance, improve our deal catalogue, personalise savings tracking for signed-in members, and send service or marketing communications where you have provided contact details and not opted out.

Sharing. We do not sell extension-derived personal information. We may share limited data with service providers (for example hosting, analytics, and email delivery) under confidentiality obligations, or where required by law. Retailer websites you visit are third parties — ROOPON does not control their data practices.

Your choices. You may uninstall the extension from Chrome at any time (Extensions → ROOPON → Remove). Uninstalling stops future collection through the extension. To opt out of marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link in our messages or contact support@roopon.com. Signed-in members can manage account details in Settings. To request deletion of extension-related personal information, email support@roopon.com with the email address tied to your account or extension subscription.

Children. The extension is not directed at persons under 18. Do not install or use it if you are under 18.

Updates. We may update extension functionality and this disclosure from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page. Continued use of the extension after changes are posted constitutes acknowledgement of the updated policy, to the extent permitted by law.

When you access or use our Services, we automatically collect information about you, including:

• Log Information: We log information about your use of our website, including your browser type and language, access times, pages viewed, your IP address and the website you visited before navigating to our website.
• Device Information: We may collect information about the device you use to access our Services, including the hardware model, operating system and version, unique device identifier, phone number, International Mobile Equipment Identity ("IMEI") and mobile network information.
• Location Information: With your consent, we may collect information about the location of your device to facilitate your use of certain features of our Services, determine the speed at which your device is traveling, add location-based filters (such as local weather), and for any other purposes.

We do not take credit card/debit card or other bank details on our website. For payment you will be directed to sign in through the respective payment gateways integrated on our website and the transaction would be completed therein. It is to be noted that we will not be storing any Bank related information on our records and none of our staffs will hold or be exposed to this information.

We use the personal information we collect to fulfil your requests for services, improve our services and contact you.

By typing into any form and providing us your e-mail address and or mobile number, you consent to us using the e-mail address and mobile number to send you our website and services related notices, including any notices required by law, in lieu of communication by postal mail. Text message opt-in and consent. We will not share your text message opt-in or consent status with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing the messaging service. We may share this data with vendors who help us deliver text messages, including platform providers and phone companies.

We may disclose information to law enforcement, other government officials, or other third parties as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate in connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringement, or other activity that is illegal or may expose us to liability.

If you activate Savings Agent, we share the minimum relevant personal information with our aggregation vendor Basiq (and as Basiq must share with authorised financial institutions subject to consent) to deliver linked-account insights described in those consent screens. Separately, where you use AI-assisted Savings Agent summaries or drafts, we may share similarly minimal transaction-derived context with subcontracted LLM inference providers strictly to produce that output—see Savings Agent disclosures in Terms & Conditions and the Site Policy section above.

We take reasonable precautions to ensure that the Personal Information we Collect, Use and Disclose is complete, relevant and up-to-date. However, the accuracy of that information depends to a large extent on the information you provide. That's why we recommend that you:

• Let us know if there are any errors in your Personal Information; and
• Keep us up-to-date with changes to your Personal Information such as your name or address.

We employ administrative, physical and electronic measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access. We use commercially reasonable physical, managerial, and technical safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of your Personal Information.

However, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission of information, we make commercially reasonable efforts to ensure the security of our systems.

The ROOPON mobile message service (the "Service") is operated by ROOPON ("ROOPON", "we", or "us"). Your use of the Service constitutes your agreement to these terms and conditions ("Mobile Terms"). We may modify or cancel the Service or any of its features without notice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may also modify these Mobile Terms at any time and your continued use of the Service following the effective date of any such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.

By consenting to ROOPON's SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages from and on behalf of ROOPON through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list. Text messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other technology. Service-related messages may include updates, alerts, and information (e.g., order updates, account alerts, etc.). Promotional messages may include promotions, specials, and other marketing offers (e.g., cart reminders).

You understand that you do not have to sign up for this program in order to make any purchases, and your consent is not a condition of any purchase with ROOPON. Your participation in this program is completely voluntary.

We do not charge for the Service, but you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan and contact your wireless provider for details. You are solely responsible for all charges related to SMS/text messages, including charges from your wireless provider.

You may opt-out of the Service at any time. Text the single keyword command STOPto ROOPON or click the unsubscribe link (where available) in any text message to cancel. You'll receive a one-time opt-out confirmation text message. No further messages will be sent to your mobile device, unless initiated by you. If you have subscribed to other ROOPON mobile message programs and wish to cancel, except where applicable law requires otherwise, you will need to opt out separately from those programs by following the instructions provided in their respective mobile terms.

We may change any short code or telephone number we use to operate the Service at any time and will notify you of these changes. You acknowledge that any messages, including any STOP or HELP requests, you send to a short code or telephone number we have changed may not be received and we will not be responsible for honoring requests made in such messages.

The wireless carriers supported by the Service are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You agree to provide us with a valid mobile number. If you get a new mobile number, you will need to sign up for the program with your new number.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that we will not be liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any information sent through the Service, any errors in such information, and/or any action you may or may not take in reliance on the information or Service.

We will not share your text message opt-in or consent status with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing the messaging service. We may share this data with vendors who help us deliver text messages, including platform providers and phone companies.
