Support chat (Roopony).When you use our on-site chat, we store your messages and our replies to provide support. Chats are answered by an AI assistant powered by Anthropic's Claude, and may be read and answered by ROOPON staff. If you are logged in, the assistant can read your own membership, giveaway-entry and payment status to answer your questions; it cannot change your account. Chats that need more help may be passed to ROOPON's support assistant, a third-party service, which can see your messages and email address to help reply. Chat transcripts are kept for up to 12 months.
Savings Agent relies on regulated consent flows facilitated by Basiq; connection methods vary by institution and may traverse Consumer Data Right Open Banking connectors, secure web connectors described by Basiq, or mixtures thereof. Credential capture happens off ROOPON.
ROOPON processes returned data solely to furnish membership dashboards, heuristic scores, anomaly surfacing, optional AI-assisted summaries, and discretionary copy drafts you initiate yourself elsewhere. Automated helpers may involve additional processors subject to contractual safeguards mirroring Australian Privacy Act expectations.
Those optional summaries or drafts may be produced using third-party large language model (LLM) inference APIs acting as processors for ROOPON: we transmit only material reasonably necessary for each request (such as classifications and snippets of synced transactions you have authorised), while the vendors run prompts on their own systems. The underlying generative models are operated by those vendors, not by ROOPON as model originators.
