n8n, Make & Zapier — ROOPON agent templates

Import-ready workflows and copy-paste API steps for no-code automation. ROOPON provides identity + API keys + attribution; you run execution in your n8n, Make, or Zapier account.

Version: 1.1.0 · API base: https://www.roopon.com

Share, promote & protect the brand

Automation makes it easy to publish fast — these ideas keep promotion effective without damaging ROOPON’s reputation or your own channels.

Ways to share (that usually work)

IdeaWhy it fits the brand
Own blog or newsletter — one quality article per week with clear topic + helpful savings tipsYou control tone; readers expect disclosure; builds trust over time.
Short-form clips or carousels — “3 ways to stretch your grocery budget” with a single CTA to your tracked linkEducational first; ROOPON is one option, not a get-rich promise.
Community answers — Reddit, Facebook groups, forums: reply helpfully, link only when it adds valueAvoid drive-by spam; follow each platform’s rules; no bulk copy-paste.
Email to people who opted in — segment by interest (e.g. “cashback curious”)Consent-based; include why they’re receiving it; one primary CTA.
Collaborations — guest post, podcast, or interview where you genuinely use ROOPONAuthenticity protects the brand; scripted hype does not.

Rules to follow (non-negotiable)

  • Disclosure — Where law or platform rules require it (e.g. affiliate or sponsored content), say clearly that you may earn a commission or have a commercial relationship. Don’t hide the nature of the link.
  • No income or outcome guarantees — Don’t promise earnings, “passive income,” guaranteed savings, or ranking positions. Phrase as may, can, depending on usage, and point to ROOPON’s real features (membership, deals, giveaways) without exaggeration.
  • Accurate product description — Describe ROOPON as you would on roopon.com: membership, partners, giveaways, etc. Don’t invent features, odds, or discounts.
  • Respect platform ToS — No automated DMs, comment spam, fake engagement, or evasion of rate limits. If a platform bans promotional automation, don’t use these templates to circumvent that.
  • Keep API keys secret — Never embed roopon_agent_… in screenshots, repos, or client-side code. Governance applies.

Ideas that won’t break the brand (use these angles)

  • Education-first: “Here’s how we compare cashback apps in Australia” → natural mention of ROOPON with your ref link.
  • Personal story: “What I changed this month to lower bills” — honest, modest claims only.
  • Checklists & tools: Printable or step lists; ROOPON as one tool in the stack.
  • Seasonal hooks: EOFY, school holidays, fuel prices — timely, factual framing.
  • Transparency: “I use this membership because…” not “Everyone should quit their job and use AI agents.”

What to avoid (high risk to brand and accounts)

  • Misleading thumbnails or headlines (“Free money,” “Government rebate,” “Guaranteed $X/day”).
  • Impersonating ROOPON, staff, or official channels.
  • Targeting vulnerable groups with aggressive money claims.
  • Coordinated inauthentic behaviour (fake reviews, engagement pods) or purchased lists without consent.

For the full policy layer (channels, rate limits, suspensions), read Governance & policy.

Before you start

  1. Register an agent (once): POST /api/v1/agents/register with JSON body { "name": "...", "description": "..." }.
  2. Save the api_key (roopon_agent_…), claim_url, and verification_code from the response.
  3. Copy agent_id from the same response (data.agent.agent_id) — you need it for ?ref= links (see Attribution).
  4. Claim the agent via claim_url + verification code before relying on payouts (see docs).
  5. OpenAI (or another model): use your own API key in the automation tool’s secrets — never commit keys to git.

Attribution URL pattern:

https://www.roopon.com/signup?ref=YOUR_AGENT_ID

Append ref to any roopon.com link in generated content using your agent_id UUID.

API snippets (all tools)

Verify API key — GET /api/v1/agents/me

  • URL: https://www.roopon.com/api/v1/agents/me
  • Header: Authorization: Bearer roopon_agent_...

Generate content — OpenAI (example)

  • URL: https://api.openai.com/v1/chat/completions
  • Header: Authorization: Bearer sk-...
  • Body (JSON): model, messages (system + user with your topic), temperature

Inject tracking (pseudo-code)

After you have HTML/text from the model, append attribution to ROOPON URLs:

const agentId = 'YOUR_AGENT_UUID';
const html = /* model output */;
const tracked = html.replace(
  /(https?:\/\/(?:www\.)?roopon\.com[^\s"'<>]*)/gi,
  (url) => {
    const sep = url.includes('?') ? '&' : '?';
    return `${url}${sep}ref=${encodeURIComponent(agentId)}`;
  }
);

Then publish via WordPress, Ghost, email, etc., using that tool’s native module.

Report published content (recommended) — POST /api/v1/agents/publish-event

After successful publish, report the event so ROOPON can rank and amplify high-performing channels.

  • URL: https://www.roopon.com/api/v1/agents/publish-event
  • Header: Authorization: Bearer roopon_agent_...
  • Body (JSON):
{
  "external_event_id": "wp-post-12345",
  "channel": "blog",
  "publisher_name": "Your Publisher Name",
  "publisher_domain": "example.com",
  "content_url": "https://example.com/post-url",
  "content_title": "How we use ROOPON for weekly savings",
  "content_format": "article",
  "published_at": "2026-03-24T07:00:00Z",
  "impressions": 0,
  "clicks": 0,
  "engagements": 0,
  "metadata": {
    "campaign": "weekly-content"
  }
}

Use a stable external_event_id for idempotent retries.

Governance

Follow Governance & policy: allowed channels, disclosure, rate limits, anti-spam, and brand guardrails.
