How winners are selected
Each weekly cash draw is conducted using a verifiable random number generator applied to the entry register for the week. Each member's FREE entries are weighted according to their membership tier's entry multiplier.
The selected entry corresponds to a single member. That member is contacted by ROOPON staff within 24 hours of the draw.
How winners are verified and paid
After contact, the winner verifies their identity (name, member account, registered Australian address). Prizes are paid by bank transfer as stated in campaign terms to a verified Australian bank account in the winner's name within 5 business days of identity verification.
Winners may choose, with no obligation, to be publicly named on this page. Names are first-name only by default. Suburb and state are published to confirm Australian residency without compromising privacy.
How to read this list
Three things this list demonstrates that matter for new ROOPON members:
1. The draws are real. Winners are published with consent. Prize amounts, cadence, and annual totals change by campaign — see /giveaways, not a fixed 52-draw / $26,000 schedule.
2. The winners are geographically diverse. Winners come from across the eight states and territories, not concentrated in one capital city.
3. The wins are verifiable. Every entry can be cross-referenced against the public weekly draw notice published on the website at the time of each draw.
What this list doesn't show
To be straight: this list shows winners. It does not show:
- The thousands of active members who did not win on any given draw
- The expected value per member per year (which is small)
- Any guarantee that you, the reader, will win
Random draws are random. Most members never win the headline prize. Some win once. A few win repeatedly. This is the structure of any cash-draw product, members-only or otherwise. The structural advantage of members-only is the smaller pool size; it is not a guarantee of personal winning.
